WO Peter Bradley RAFAC

Squadron Warrant Officer

WO Bradley was introduced to the ATC in 1989 by his daughter and joined as a Civilian Instructor, appointed as Warrant Officer in September 1992. He is in charge of dress and discipline and is also a drill instructor. He oversees the cadet NCO's and is also a member of the Wing Clay Shooting Adult team and helps train cadets from the Wing in the sport.

Flt Lt Lynda Bradley RAFAC

Squadron Commanding Officer

Flt Lt Bradley was Commissioned as an Officer in the Royal Air Force Air Cadets during January 1993. Flt Lt Bradley has been CO of various Squadron in the north of Hampshire over the years and has commanded 2407 Sqn since 2008.

CI Pam Lovell

Civilian Instructor

Pam is an Environment Manager at British Airways and her background is in aeronautical engineering and weighing aeroplanes which came from her time as an Air Cadet. She loves all things outdoors and competes in marathons, kayaking and coaches school kayaking.

CI Richard Lovell

Civilian Instructor

Richard works in Reading selling canoes and sporting equipment and is also a canoeing coach. His background is personal development and outdoor education. He is also a Gold Duke of Edinburgh Assessor and it is in this role that he helps at Squadron.

CI Frazer McCambridge-Heal

Civilian Instructor

Frazer was a cadet at 2407 and is now working with British Airways having completed his University course. Frazer is of course flying off around the world but instructs when he is at home.

Sgt Laura Heath

Squadron Training Officer

Laura has taken on the role of Training Officer and has also gone into uniform. Currently very involved with our newest cadets in all aspects of their training. She is well qualified to do this being a primary school teacher. She is keen on outdoor pursuits and enjoys working with children! Laura is being trained in fieldcraft, rifle and other adventure training activities along with her drill and other uniform training.

CI Dean Armstrong

Squadron Adjutant

Dean has handed Training Officer on so that he can develop his admin skills as Adjutant. He also teaches adventurous training in the form of canoeing, kayaking and is a Duke of Edinburgh Award assessor. By trade Dean is a building contractor with his own business.

CI Angela Thorburn

Civilian Instructor

Andela is an HR Consultant and works away a lot. When at Squadron helps with CV training and leadership skills. She also helps with PR for Squadron.

CI Andrew Hedges

Civilian Instructor

Andy teaches the Leading Cadet syllabus, Principles of Flight, Map Reading and Airmanship. He is now retired but was a British Airways Dispatcher and Ground Handling Mgt, then a Pilot Recruitment Manager for 13 years.

Justin Lalonde

Civilian Instructor

Justin Lalonde was born in Canada and has a degree in Politics. He moved to the UK 15 years ago, and gained a lifelong ambition of obtaining a PPL, he went on to become a commercial airline pilot and has since became a trainer, and instructor pilot. He now provides multi engine training for the RAF.
His knowledge makes him invaluable for teaching anything to do with flying and aircraft. We therefore welcome him onto our staff.

Deacon James Snyder

Squadron Padre

Deacon James has agreed to be our Squadron Padre, he is a Deacon in The Parish of Holy Trinity and Our Lady in Fleet, having previously been in the US Navy in Ohio and in London. He will bring that extra diversity to our Squadron and we welcome him following a lengthy paper trail.

Sgt Oliver Williams

Deputy Training Officer

Sgt Williams has been with the Squadron since he joined as a cadet. He has achieved his Duke of Edinburgh Award, a BTEC in Aviation, Leadership qualifications and much more. Sgt Williams is in training as a uniformed member of staff and stands in for civilian instructors where necessary in classification training, also working on fieldcraft, leadership and cyber. Sgt Williams is an apprentice with Qinetiq in Farnborough doing IT programming etc.

CI Lee McEvoy

Civilian Instructor

Lee is formerly a cadet in the CCF, joining the University Air Squadron in Leeds. He has also been a Captain in the Territorial Army and now works in IT. Main areas of expertise is radio, weapons, fieldcraft and leadership. He now instructs the senior and master subjects.

CI Stuart Lewis

Civilian Instructor

Stuart is a former cadet and is currently teaching Leadership and other similar subjects. He works in IT at QinetiQ.

Wg Cdr David Gilson RAF VRT(R) Ret'd

Chairman of Civilian Committee

David was a pilot with BA and has also been the Hants & IOW Wing Commander in the 1980s. He and the Committee give support to the CO and staff and look after the financial side of things.
